Spring Fashion Haul

Happy Friday!!! 

{Happy Dance Time!!!......oh yeah....oh yeah......twerk.... ok- that's enough.}

I don't know about you guys but I love Youtube. I love all of the make-up gurus, fashion videos, vlogs (addicted to ItsJudyslife), and I love watching hauls. Only bad thing about hauls is that I feel like going shopping after seeing all the cute dresses, shoes, make up, so on and so on. 
Well I must confess I have Spring fever and I've fallen victim to spring shopping as well. I figured what the hec let me show you dolls what's new in my closet. Well technically some of it were recent purchases and others were end of the season sales, but I've been saving the pieces for Spring. Check them out!
 
Above: I am obsessed with Lavender lately...I am forecasting this is going to be a huge color for Summer/Spring. Heels: Urbanog.com
Below: You can never go wrong with classic black sandals. These are from a very inspiring Latina who has her own online boutique- FancySteps. 
Above: Actually purchased this at the end of last season on Asos.com. With the warm weather around the corner, hopefully I can rock this peplum beauty.

Below: Bought this at the end of last summer at Zara. Its been in the closet for a while, so finally it can come out and play!
Above: I needed a solution to all of my little earrings and studs. See, I am not the most organized person- so I would leave them in random places, lose some here and there...Fortunately, the Container Store came to the rescue! I found these awesome acrylic boxes for only 6 bucks! 
Below: How cool is this hand. A little creepy, maybe, but I love it! Found this for my rings at Hobby Lobby. 
 
 
I bought two skirts at the thrift store last week. Two for 10 bucks- you cant beat that.

This weekend I was super excited to rock this outfit. I love the classic color combination of red, black and white. It is no secret I adore polka dots too- so, when we saw this skirt we knew we had to carry it in the shop! Check out the look:

The Easy and Simple Outfit

Hello Lovelies, 

Happy Hump Day! I know we all have those days where we look into our closets full of clothes- yet have nothing to wear. Well, I have a little solution for those days. I built a little diagram to share with you and hope it helps on those specific "don't have anything to wear days." It is super simple! Top and shoes have to be black and the center is anything; a pop of color, patterns, skirt, jeans, slacks, pretty much anything. Below is  my example of such an outfit:

Happy Hump Day Lovelies, 

Can you believe Mother's Day is right around the corner?! I am still debating on what to give my Mami. She loves candles and is a fashionista too so, I am still brainstorming..... What are you guys planning on giving your special lady??? 

Today's outfit is this lovely skater dress with black accents. I wore this to my girlfriends b-day dinner (Hey Vane!!!) . I think every girl should have a cute little skater dress in their closet. The shoes can dress it up or  down. Simple as that.

Happy Friday!!!

It's that time to share my vacay pics with you. I hope you enjoy them and maybe inspire you to take a little break from reality. I have prepared four posts in total, so stay tuned for more beach outfits to come.
Here we go!
Aerial shot of our arrival to paradise. 
 Being goofy on the plane:) 
Ocean front suite was definitely a plus!!! For my travel attire I opted for this casual maxi. Comfy and kept me warm. Darn planes are always cold. 
 Infinity pool in front of the beach was breath taking.
 After a long beach and pool day I decided to wear this outfit- Boohoo skirt, tank from TJ Maxx, and sandals from Target.

Wedding Anniversary # Dos

Hola Lovelies, 

Day two in Mexico was our second wedding anniversary. It was so special to be close to where we tied the knot. There is nothing like being married to your best friend. It is pure fun- 100% of the time. God really blessed me with this guy.

 Celebrated year two in Isla de Mujeres. An island right of the coast of Cancun. 
 Hubby totally excited to go snorkeling.

Backless Dress + What Bra...

Today's new dress at the Stylish Closet is this nude and turquoise peplum dress that is backless. When posting dresses like this, the question I receive all the time is- "Ivonne, what kind of bra do I wear with a backless dress, shirt, romper...?" I will be completely honest with you- I just don't wear a bra.(TMI- I know, but we are all adults here. At least I hope.) I know that once I have kids this wont be possible. At least that is what my girlfriends say- "Nothing is ever the same girl!" Plus I've never heard of anyone defying gravity and we're not getting any younger. Continue reading for some backless bra options I found. 

Victoria’s Secret U-Plunge Backless Push-Up Bra because it’s low enough in front to accommodate sexy, plunging styles and a bare back. 
 Maidenform’s Push Up Combo Wing Bra is a more traditional option that offers more support in the front. If you aren't worrying about a plunging neckline than this is definitely your best bet. This adhesive version comes with two sets of liners so you can wear it over and over again — and it also offers a little push-up.
A benefit of shopping on Amazon.com are the reviews because they can be very helpful. So, on Amazon I searched backless bras and looked for the best rated bra ****(four stars). And voilà! This is the bra that came up: Bundle Monster 3in1 Cup Push Up Bra. Not only does it  have great reviews but it is very affordable. Only $10.99 and it is silicone based.

Happy Memorial Day!

Hope you're enjoying your day off- I definitely am. Sleeping in on a Monday is awesome. 
But let's not forget that today is a special day to remember all of those fallen heroes, family, our friends who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

My brother served in Iraq for a year and half, thankfully he returned home. I cannot even imagine the pain and heartbreak of not having your loved one come home. I salute them and their families today.
