Hola Lovelies,

Hope you all had a nice weekend.
With this beautiful Spring weather I can't help but be attracted to flower prints. They are perfect for the season. I've had this skirt in my closet for months! So I was definitely happy to finally wear it.
Because the skirt's print is so bold and beautiful I wanted to mute out the top and bottom by wearing neutrals.
Check out the look:
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy

Buenos Dias,

STYLE REMIX time!
Remember this POST? Well, here is look number two. It's important to try and remix all your clothes currently in your closet. We can't be going to the mall every weekend and buying new clothes. I mean don't get me wrong, if you can afford it- more power to you. BUT I definitely can't- so I've become a master at remixing my wardrobe.
Check out the look:
What am I wearing? Forever21 Blouse. Zara skirt. Urbanog heels.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Hola Hola,

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
I definitely did because I had the opportunity to do some shopping at the Grand Prairie Premium Outlets

It was my first time there, and I must say- they are wonderful. They have an abundant selection of stores and the weather was amazing for walking around the beautiful property. I bought some goodies at Charlotte Russe, Love Culture, and Aldo.
On the way there the Husband and I stopped right off the highway to take pics with our Texas State flower- Bluebonnets. As you can tell...I was a little EXCITED.
Now to the outfit of the day.... I wanted to wear something cute but casual. So, I opted for this perfect little white dress from F21 and added my chucks and jean vest for the casual touches. Oh and I can't forget my fave pop of color, my MAC lipstick- Rubi Woo.
Check it out!
OF COURSE, I will share with you my new goodies.
Stay tuned for the Spring Haul c/o Grand Prairie Premium Outlets on the next post.

Hello Lovelies,

Are you guys ready for the weekend? My Friday is actually today. Woohoo! Three day weekend, here I come. But before I get too excited about the three day weekend I've prepared a little Easter Fashion Haul for you guys c/o the Grand Prairie Premium Outlets.
 Enjoy!
Yes, yes, I know what you're thinking. There she goes again with another skirt… I can't help it ladies. It was too cute to pass up, and it's the perfect color for Spring and Summer.
How cute are these chandelier earrings from Aldo!? It was love at first sight. They had a BOGO (buy one get one free) deal going on, so I grabbed these and another beauty. Keep scrolling to see  :)
I found these pretty little shorts at Love Culture. I usually stay away from shorts because they just never fit right. Ugh! But these actually fit well and I loved the scalloped detail at the bottom.
I bought this set of small earrings at Charlotte Russe just for those tiny little crystal earrings. I thought there were adorable!
Random purchase…. I've been on the hunt for a new phone case, but I can't get myself to pay an arm and a leg for one. I found this one at Charlotte Russe for 7 bucks!
Here is the other BEAUTY from Aldo. Isn't she lovely? lol. I cannot wait to style this statement necklace.
And last but not least, this dainty little necklace. It's perfect for layering over a t-shirt or blouse.
Thanks #GPPO for having me!!

Have a wonderful weekend loves and Happy Easter.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Hello Hello,

This is actually the second time I wore this outfit. The first time, I wore it to a baptism and the second time, I wore it to Easter Sunday church service. My husband took pics the first time I wore it but the pictures came out super foggy and blurry. Ugh! (I know all my blogger sisters know that feeling. Fail!) The only two pics that were ok- were these two:
When all else FAILS, take pictures again! Round 2.
Dress and heels: F21. Blazer: HandM.
See you Thursday for my next #ootd.

I pray you all have an amazing rest of the week.

Yep, I am a terrible blogger. I actually have three looks pending but I just haven't found the time to edit. Please forgive me!

Life has really happened to us, by us- I mean my husband and I. We have a lot, a lot of changes happening in a short amount of time.  Let me explain….

My husband and I moved right outside of Dallas about 3 years ago. We bought a spanking new house for an amazing price! We thought it was the perfect house. Well… three years later and here we are. The drive, TRAFFIC, highway construction, being far from the family- got to us. We decided to test the waters and put our house on the market- just to see what happened.
WELL- it sold in a day. Yep, one day!
(This was my reaction, lol!)
We are moving to a temporary home while we house hunt closer to our dream location.
I've been packing the whole house as fast as possible and trying not to go crazy. Key word- TRYING.
Exactly! You don't realize how much crap you have until you move. Wow. I never thought I would say this- but I have too many shoes. Seriously, I need help you guys.

Anyway, please bear with me while I get my life somewhat in order.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Kindness: An Admirable Quality

Hey there Lovelies,

Long time, long time- I know!
When I read a great prayer I always want to share it so, I figured I would share it with you dolls alongside of this lovely dress
The fruit produced in a Spirit-filled life and noted that all the other qualities are expressions of the first one—love (Gal. 5:22-23). Author Ray Stedman explains, “After all, joy is love enjoying itself; peace is love resting; patience is love waiting; kindness is love reacting; goodness is love choosing; faithfulness is love keeping its word; gentleness is love empathizing; and self-control is love resisting temptation.”
Let’s focus on kindness, which he says is how love reacts. It is revealed in . . .

• Generous thoughts that look for the good first.
• Sensitive words that are spoken to the unruly for discipline and the well-behaved for praise.
• Considerate responses that are made in the face of anger or injustice.
• Intentional actions that benefit others without personal gain.
Think of your responses over the past week. Might there be any irritation, impatience, or words you wish you could take back?
Kindness is not something that we put on for certain occasions, like a piece of jewelry; rather, it is an attribute of God’s that He desires to reproduce in us.
Take time to bow your head and acknowledge how kind your heavenly Father has been to you.
Confess any acts of unkindness, and receive the forgiveness He promises (1 John 1:9). Then ask Him to continue working through the Holy Spirit to develop the fruit of kindness in you. Tell Him you know that is one of the qualities He delights in and you desire it to be evident in you.
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend lovelies and thank you so much for always visiting the blog.

Have a blessed Friday,

Ivonne Stacy.

Hola Lovelies,

Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend. I definitely did. It was refreshing.
Now let's talk CAMO.
These jeans were just hanging around in my closet with the tags still on for over seven months. As you can tell from my blog, I don't wear pants too often, it's a rare occasion.
I visualized wearing these pants with red and white.
A simple white T and the pop of red in the heels was just right. A simple, yet cute look.
Check it out:
I am wearing: F21 White T, Charlotte Russe red heels, Pac Sun camp pants and Aldo cross body bag.
I pray you all have an awesome rest of the week. It's a short one!

Buenos dias y feliz Viernes!

Officially a week from today my family and I are heading to El Salvador.
My husband is Mexican and his first time visiting ES- so I am excited to show him around my families homeland.

Will you guys be traveling anywhere this summer? Share with me your upcoming summer adventures in the comments section :)

Ok- FASHION TIME.
My mom bought me this little suit for my birthday back in January. I was simply waiting for the warm weather to rock these little short shorts.
I was debating on what to call the little suit- Beetle Juice Suit, Referee Suit, Jail Inmate Suit, LOL!
But I opted for, Black and White Striped Suit. It just sounds so much more CHIC.
Don't you agree?
The shorts did fit me a little small so I added extra fabric panels on both sides.
It was a fast and easy fix.
Anyway, hope you like the look.
I pray you all have an amazing weekend!

Ivonne Stacy.

Hola Hola!!!

It's been a crazy week and I am so happy I finally get a little time to post on the blog. :) I wanted to share with you some of my latest purchases from the thrift store, TJ Maxx, F21, a local shoe store, and Nordstrom's Rack. I've been going a little nuts because tomorrow we leave for El Salvador and I wanted to get a few things before we left.

 HAUL TIME!
 {Warning Picture Overload}
First, I purchased this beautiful, flowy, baby blue top that went perfectly with these white denim shorts. What I loved about these shorts was the length. They are not too long, or too short. Just perfect. If you've shopped around for shorts lately… You know how friggin short the shorts are now-a-days. I mean seriously, I don't want my butt cheeks hanging out.
I stopped by F21 and purchased these adorable shorts in emerald green-see below)!
Yep, another skirt! BUT look how amazing the print is. It called my name you guys!
These little rings called my name too. Lol! They have a vintage feel and I adore the colors.
Yep, I know what you're thinking- that crop top looks like bright pink bubble gum. Isn't she lovely? This crop top will go perfectly with my new skirt.
And last but not least…. I fell in love with this watermelon pajama set from F21. It will be perfect for my summer vacation. Oh, and it was 40% off.
Right by my job there is a shoe store, I call it my "shoe heaven". They have all types, colors and they are super affordable. I popped in last week and walked out with these three:
Now, to Nordstroms Rack…. I know- who buys booties in the summer?! Well, I do. They are Nine West, retailed for $120 bucks and I bought them for 24.99. Seriously, I couldn't pass up on such a great deal. I've already worn them with a cute little summer dress. CUTE, CUTE!
BCBG Bracelet was a steal. It was only 4 bucks!
 Thrift store buys:
I bought this little dress for seven bucks. It's perfect for the office. Oh and everything I purchased was unworn with tags still on. Even better!
 Loose white-t was only $2.
Ralph Lauren green top, perfect for work as well and was only $3.
This thrift shop receives all the bathing suits their local Target doesn't sell. How awesome is that! These were brand new with tags and each cost me $1.50!
Ok… I am not going to cry!!! My nephew graduated from 5th grade yesterday. Oh my goodness you guys, I cannot believe he is going to middle school!
Blows my mind how time flies. Anyway, just wanted to share a picture with you guys. He looks so handsome in his little suit.

Have a blessed rest of the week, or what's left of it, and wonderful weekend too.

I won't have posts next week because I will be on vacation. Please follow me on Instragram: @IvonneStacy for some vacay pics.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Hi Loves,

I am on the road again, so I figured I would share with you some pictures from our recent trip to El Salvador.
 (Above) Freshly made cheesy pupusas.
(Below) What I wore to the Cameron- a resort off the beach in Sonsonate, El Salvador.
(Above) Shaved ice or in El Salvador they are called "Minutas". They come in all kinds of flavors and a variety of different toppings. This one had fresh mango, honey, bananas, and strawberries.
(Above) 1. Mayan ruins off the beach. 2. Natural salt water pool. Every time the high tide comes in the pool fills up. Pretty cool. 3. My nephew, Jojo, became a Peacock, lol!
(Above) 1. The hubby and I a little sun burned. 2. They had the most amazing trees on the property. I could stare at them all day. 3. Fresh fruit salad juice and horchata. Mmmmm! So GOOD.
Thank you so much for visiting the blog. I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

El Salvador has such a bad reputation from what you see on the news and all the negative media. BUT in reality it's a beautiful country with kind and loving people. Oh and I can't forget the amazing authentic Salvadorian food. To die! I hope one day the bad reputation, and turmoil fades away- so more people go visit and see the beauty it really is.

I'm not done yet, part II coming soon.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Happy Friday Loves,

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the last post from my adventures in El Salvador. Lets continue...
We visited a total of three beaches while in ES. This one is called "El Cuco." For ten bucks they set up three hammocks, two tables and a server who caters to you every desire. Pretty amazing. Below is a compilation of our seafood extravaganza lunch.
(Above) Delectable shrimp cocktail.
(Below) Another shaved ice or Minuta. This one was finger licking good. It had coconut, honey, fruits, and waffle cookies. All... for a whole... 50 cents.
We also saw a total of five volcanoes. See the one above, scary!! Volcan de San Miguel.
Yep, plantain heaven! Plantain is a very typical meal in ES. You fry it and eat it with salvadorian cream and black beans. Delicious! Can you believe one whole stalk only cost $2! Each stock had over 20 plantains each.
Say hello to my grandmas little Parrot. He was very sweet, liked to dance and eat!
Where my Grandma lives the houses are made out of clay. They've lived there their whole lives, so to them it's no different, but for us- it's a culture shock. Being with no ac, the heat is…well I swear my face melted off a few times. It's a whole different world. It really makes you realize what we take for granted here in the States.
(Above) I had to take a picture of this…. My mom's uncles are Tailors. They make the most amazing trousers. They cut every piece by hand and use these vintage machines. When I say every piece- I mean every little piece that you see on a pair of pants. It was so nice to see them now that I am older. I knew my love for clothing came from somewhere, lol!
(Above) Los Planes de Renderos. I was a little car sick looping around the mountain over and over. But once you get to the very top- the view never fails to impress. It's pretty awesome.
(Below) 1. Another pic of the view. 2. Because it's cooler up there, I had a typical Salvadorian hot chocolate. It tastes so darn good! 3. #Selfie- My whole family :) My two bros, the hubster, nephew, mom and dad.
(Above) This is a traditional Salvadorian Sandwich. Yep, my dad ate that monster of a sandwich. It was two times bigger than my head.
(Below) 1. Last beach we visited was beautiful. El Puerto de la Libertad. 2. Our friends Karen and Erika, and my fam.
Hope you guys enjoyed that.

I am currently at a conference for work in Park City, UT. I will make sure to get some more pretty images to share with you dolls who enjoy to travel like I do.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Travel Diary: Park City, UTAH

Hi Loves,

Like I promised, here are few shots from my trip to Park City, Utah. This was a work trip, but I am so thankful I had the opportunity to go because Utah is breathtaking. The scenery is just beautiful and the cool weather high up in the mountains was just spectacular.
I stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge (not pictured, that (above) was another resort). It was amaze-balls! Here is a pic of my suite.
My balcony had a jacuzzi with a beautiful view.
The first night I went down to their tiny city to walk around and experience their food and goodies.
I came across a Banksy piece of art. If you don't know- he is a UK graffitti artist, political activist, film director and painter. I thought it was so cool to see one of his works, so I was a total tourist and took a pic, lol!
(1) The little town was adorable. Every building is painted a cute pastel color. (2) I rode a ski lift for the first time too. I was so excited until I realized how high up I was with my legs hanging off the edge. I don't know how these skiers just jump off during the Winter season. (3) I also visited the Canyons and rode on the scenic gondola. I was also SUPER excited until we crossed the canyons and I looked down. OMG. Scary! lol.
Above- Gondola Ride
Below- Me chillin on the lawn in my Nine West Booties :) It was the perfect weather to rock my little booties.
(1) After riding the ski lift we had to hike down the mountain and we came across this lake. The view was beautiful. (2) And that's me with my handy dandy paddle for whitewater rafting. If you get to whitewater raft at least once, do it! It was so much fun. (3) A scenic view from one of the decks at the Stein Eriksen.
While getting ready for our first corporate dinner a storm rolled in and again the view was just awesome!
Last but not least a view of UT from the plane.
Hope  you guys enjoyed a little taste of Utah. If you can visit, I definitely recommend it.

See you soon,

Ivonne Stacy.
