Hello Darlings!

I wanted to share with you guys something exciting I experienced this past weekend.

George Kotsiopoulos, celebrity stylist and host of E!’s Fashion Police, teamed up with the Gap Outlet  and hosted a fashion show and event at the Grand Prairie Premium Outlets.

Even though it was incredibly hot (I thought my face was melting off!) in that tent, I was super stoked to be one of the bloggers there. His styling for the fashion show was very chic but casual at the same time. They were definitely looks more appropriate for the every day girl.
"I am beyond excited about my partnership with Gap Factory stores because they provide affordable, on-trend, high quality fashion for people of all ages.  I have been a fan of the brand ever since I was a kid and have been wearing it ever since.  The Gap brand is iconic like apple pie and I am honored to be a party of the family." ~ George Kotsiopoulos
I did ask him what it's like to work with Joan Rivers??? He said she is the sweetest lady, a hard worker and caring person. What do you guys think? He might be too afraid to say the truth, lol!
I also had the opportunity to meet Ellen from Perennial Style, Kelley (LOVE her!!! Such a blessing to meet her. Please visit her blog, it's amaze-balls! :) from The Style Barn, and Kenyatta from Diva Is Diva Does.
Thank you so much for your continued love and support. If it wasn't for you guys supporting my blog, I wouldn't be able to do cool things like this.

I have another post ready with all the outfit details. Stay tuned.

Before I leave you guys, shout out to my Mom! She accompanied me to the event and took  most of the pics. Gracias Mami!

Besos,

Ivonne Stacy.

Hi Loves!

It's almost Friday :) Eeeeekkkk!

Let me tell you a little bit about my outfit chaos. I had no idea what to wear for the Gap event. No idea! I tried on five different outfits and my husband and mom were no help. They had different opinions about each outfit. So, I decided to go to bed and decide in the morning. I woke up in a monochromatic mood and went for all white with a pop of leopard. I didn't ask anyone for their opinion and kept it moving. Sometimes, it's better to just do what you feel is right.
 What am I wearing?
F21 cream crop top. Leopard heels from Steve Madden. Love Culture cream skirt. Aldo watch
I don't know if any of you noticed, but my hair is much lighter. Thank you Mellanie for my new locks! Check her out on IG: @HairbyMellanie.
I pray you all have a great weekend. Thanks Mom for taking my blog pics :)

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Hello Lovelies,

I've had writers block all morning. So, let me tell you a little bit about our new adventure.

My husband and I have been taking Salsa lessons. It's definitely something new for us and challenging. Challenging because it's frigging hard and I am really impatient. I want my hubby to already be a pro, lol! I want him to be a leader and lead me. I've stepped on his shoes a few times, we always hit each others knees and we suck at all the turns. BUT with all the craziness and our sore toes, I LOVE it. Who ever thought Salsa would teach us to communicate better, have more patience with each other and be cohesive- one unit.
Last night we learned a new turn and we practiced all night. My feet are killing me this morning! Hopefully soon, with more practice and my toes still in tact, we can boogie down on the dance floor.
Like it says in the bible "the two will become one flesh." Not only in life, but in Salsa dancing too. Lol! God knows what he's talking about :)
Tell me, have you guys ever taken any type of dance classes before???
Let me know in the comment section below. Don't be shy! I would love to know.
I am wearing: F21 pleated skirt, HandM white crop top, turquoise necklace from eBay, Steve Madden leopard heels, and Aldo watch
As soon as I saw this skirt, I snatched it up! I didn't even look at the size or price. It was going to be MINE. Fortunately for me, it was only $22 and it was a Medium. We were meant to be.
(Gosh, I sound like a crazy lady, lol!)
Have a blessed day everyone. Thank you for stopping by!

Blogger Problems + $17 #OOTD

Hello Hello!

I was viciously attacked when I wore this outfit! By what, you might be asking? Well, by those darn mosquitoes. Blogger problem number three hundred and sixty eight- those darn mosquitoes. I don't know why, but they love me. They adore me. I can't even be outside for a minute and I have at least three mosquito bites. The worst part is that the bites swell up like balloons. It looks horrendous.
Porque Señor?!

Anyway, enough rambling about those blood suckers. Let's talk about this outfit. It's bright, it's fun and perfect for Summer. If I remember correctly, the skirt was about $12 bucks and the crop top was like $5 bucks. What! What! A whole outfit for $17.  You can't beat that.
Check out the look:
What am I wearing? F21 skirt and crop top. Urbanog heels.
I can't forget to talk about this purse. It's also from F21. I've been wanting a white purse for a while, but I was hesitant to buy one because I am a magnet to spills. Gosh, not only am I a mosquito magnet but now a spill magnet. I can never wear white. See this post here? That outfit didn't survive. I got make up on the skirt and ketchup on the top. Thank God for bleach. :)
I've set a goal to keep this purse as white and clean as possible. I will keep you guys posted.
I just realized, for blog purposes, I set my white bag on the floor! LOL! Don't worry no bag was harmed in the making of this photo.
Please stay safe, enjoy your loved ones and see you next week.
Have a great weekend.

Feliz Viernes! Happy Friday!

Hope you guys had a great week. I'm ecstatic for the three day weekend. Thank you Jesus!
It was a rough week.

Anyway, here is a look you guys rarely see on the blog. Obviously, I am a curvier woman and wearing shorts like this can be a challenge. A challenge because you don't want your butt cheeks coming out the back, you know? Well I found these shorts at F21 and I was super excited when I tried them on because they were just the right length. They cover everything that needs to be covered.
Check out the look:
What am I wearing?
F21 tank and shorts. Chuck sneakers. Necklace: Stripe Clothing Co. Bracelet and earrings from HandM. Sun glasses: Urban Outfitters.
I pray you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Loves,

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Monday was my nephew- Jojo's 11th birthday. I just cannot believe how fast time has flown. It feels like it was just yesterday that he was born. He is growing up to be so kind, loving and a little man of Christ. It is so amazing to watch.

Anyway, just wanted to share that with you ladies. I know some of you feel the same about your nephews, nieces, or children. It's true when they say cherish each moment because before you know it- they're grown!
What am I wearing? F21 confetti blouse and shorts. Ann Michele Heels from lulus.com. F21 Tassel earrings and bracelet.
You might be asking yourself, what's up with the stank face?
Well, I hate it when people are nosey. They purposely stop and stare while my husband takes my blog pics. I don't get it. I wish I could scream- "keep it moving people!" But instead I just give them the stank face, lol! Blogger problem #156.
Look at the bright side, it's already Wednesday.

It's Friday, woohoo!

So thankful. Remember I told you guys I was having a rough time? Well, I am feeling much better and by the grace of God it was a great week. I have new things happening and new adventures coming my way. Extremely excited.

Anyway, lets talk about this outfit. The inspiration came from the necklace- the bold colors I adore. This will probably be the last super colorful outfit of the season. It's that time for wines, blacks, forest greens, mustard yellows… Can't wait. I will have to do a FALL inspiration board for you guys and for myself. Check out the look:
What am I wearing? Lulus Skirt. UrbanOG Heels. F21 top and necklace
Why gray booties? If you look closely, the beads on the necklace are gray. It's all in the little details.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Ok, like promised- here's an inspiration board for Fall. Even though the cold temps aren't very fun, at least we can layer on some cute clothes. All images are ℅ Pinterest.
Enjoy!
I visited Zara last week and purchased one of these beautiful scarves, or as my husband called it, a flannel cover. Lol! Ugh, men just don't understand.
I cannot wait to wear it when this Texas heat finally departs.

#3 Did I mention I love turquoise, lol!

FALL Red Plaid + Black Hat

Hello,

It's been a crazy busy week and it's only Tuesday. Lord have mercy.

My husband and I are literally counting down the days because we leave to Spain on Sunday. If you know me well, you know I love to travel. Especially to new places and especially with my best friend in the whole wide world- the hubby.
Ahhh!!! So friggin excited.

Anyway, enough of about me, lets talk about this outfit. I found this dress at F21 and loved it. But you know what I loved more? The price!!! It was only 13.99. What a great deal, right?! This plaid little number screams Fall. I knew that I wanted to pair it with a black hat, but I didn't have a hat. See, I suffer from big a** head. Hats never fit me right because I have a huge knocker. Yep, it's true.
Fortunately, I hit the jackpot and found this hat at Urban Outfitters and it fits just right.
Check out the look:
 What am I wearing?
F21 dress only 13 bucks! Anne Michele heels. Aldo necklace. Urban Outfitters hat
RIP dainty little necklace. I broke it!!! :(
See you on Friday with another #OOTD.

Hello! Hello!

It's been a while. Yes, it has.

If you follow me on Instagram you know I've been super busy! The hubby and I came back from Spain about a week ago. Right after the trip, I had to coordinate my very first conference for my firm. Let's just say its been CRAZY/ hectic. I am now thankful and grateful for the quiet moments.

Anyway, it's a tradition for me to share my traveling experiences with you here on the blog. So lets begin!

WARNING: Picture OVERLOAD

 First Stop: Barcelona, Spain
We arrived in Barcelona early in the am. The flight was long! About 10 hours in total from Dallas to Barcelona, Spain.
We rented an apartment in Barcelona (Airbnb.com is the bomb!) It was tiny, but super efficient and great location. Oh and it had wifi. Very important.
When we first arrived we took a power nap because that jet lag is killer. Then we took a cab to the Olympic park (see above). It's beautiful. The beach is so serene and relaxing. There is rows of restaurants and palm trees.
Here's hubby and I taking selfless, lol! You just have to right? These are our excited faces.
The night creeped up on us! While we were exploring the city, we stumbled upon a local fair. There was a huge Ferris wheel and all kinds of games and rides. Of course, we had to ride on the Ferris wheel. (Side note: I hate rides. I can't even ride the merry-go-round without getting sick.) I built up the courage to get on but I almost did get sick. That wouldn't have been pretty.
The only part I enjoyed about getting on the Ferris wheel was the amazing pictures I took of the city.
CHURROS- mmmm!!! So delicious. They fill them with cream or Nutella and oh my goodness- they are finger licking good.
The next morning hubby and I decided to take a tour of the Barcelona Stadium. He is a huge soccer fan and this was a must on our to-visit list. I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed it too. It was a pretty cool experience.
We had the opportunity to see the locker rooms, press room, and walk around the field.
Below: The Sagrada Familia.
It's breathtaking. They began to build this church in 1882 and still continues. That's why you see cranes all around. You can totally tell what parts are new and what parts are older.
There is so much detail that you can sit there for hours and just admire it.
One of Spains most famous Architects, Antoni Gaudi, also added his vision and works to this church.
Below: These are called the Nativity Facades. It celebrates the birth of Jesus. Just amazing.
Continuing on…
This is just a pic of a cool building. The architecture in Spain is spectacular.
A visit to Casa Milà, popularly known as ‘La Pedrera’ (the stone quarry), gives us a better understanding and appreciation of architecture and take us to the period when Antoni Gaudí lived.
Yep, that is a huge gaping hole in the center of the home.
These large creations by Gaudi are on the roof top. They overlook the city and give you amazing views of the ocean.
Below: Another one of his alluring projects.
Check out our ride to the Monjuic Castle. Pretty cool, eh?
This aerial lift takes you up Barcelona's Montjuic Mountain.
Once up top, you arrive to the castle. The beautifully manicured lawn is not what I expected. But those huge cannons overlooking the sea were pretty rad.
I can't even imagine way back in the day when they would shoot those at incoming invaders.
Now they just sit there, quietly overlooking the sea.
Below: I took this picture from the hotels roof top. That bullet shaped building is called- Torre Agbar.
It's not only striking at night but in the daylight too.
It was extremely difficult going through all my pictures to just pick ten.
I know, I went a little overboard with 20 but regardless, I really hope you enjoyed them.
Ibiza is coming up next!

See you soon Loves.

Hello there lovelies,

Do you wanna day dream about laying out on a beautiful beach today? Then keep scrolling!
A flight from Barcelona to Ibiza was about 25 minutes or not even- maybe less.
You are up in the air, getting all comfy and then you land. Lol!
I really loved Ibiza. (See picture above.) You can easily get lost because of all the tiny roads. I don't know how cars drive through these teeny tiny streets. Thank God I didn't drive there, or I would have probably taken out a few tourists. Apparently (we didn't know this) Ibiza is PARTY CENTRAL. Clubbers from all over the world come and get sh**t faced and party for days. The clubs are HUGE and super expensive to get into. There was a party the night we arrived but it was $85 euros to get in- that's about $110 US dollars.  It's called a "Closing Party" because they literally shut down the island and open up till next summer. Their form of hibernation.

I thought this was ironic considering my husband and I are total poopers. By ten o'clock at night we are in our pajamas ready to go to bed. Fortunately for us- because it was the end of the season there were a lot older people relaxing and enjoying the beaches.
This was a door to a flat. Seriously, how cute! (I took this picture just for my mom because she LOVES green and I knew she would appreciate this door.)
I took these pics outside of our hotel. They had an amazing garden of bright, colorful flowers.
We stayed in a town called San Antonio. A 20 minute bust ride from there took us directly to the Port of Ibiza. There is a huge castle right in the center of the city. It's amazing to me how old these structures are and how they've held up for so long.
This castle also overlooks the sea. Below: Sitting on the edge of castle's wall.
Farmers Market.
Playa Cala Bassa
Our view from the hotel.
It was my first time seeing these huge rock formations in the middle of the ocean.
It's picturesque.
There are so many hues of blue. If the sun is out, the more blue the water becomes.
Cala Conta Beach
No words. It was mesmerizing.
Though the water was freezing I decided to take a dip in the Mediterranean sea. I wanted to gracefully, slowly walk into water and instead slipped off a rock and fell right into the water. I scraped my finger and was bleeding!! My husband calls it my Ibiza battle wound. Lol! #clumsylady
Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful weekend.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.

Why hello there!

Guess what? I actually have a look for you today.
It's a simple look with warm Fall colors- navy blue, cognac, and mustard yellow.
A few weeks ago we actually had a chilly day here in Dallas. You know I had to bring out the boots and rock my new scarf I purchased at Primark in Spain.
Check out the look:
Mustard yellow scarf from Primark, Charlotte Russe over the knee boots, F21 skirt, top and purse.
HandM accessories and Aldo watch.
I believe every woman should have some cognac colored boots for fall.
You can wear them with everything!
I have these from Charlotte Russe, which are affordable and faux leather, but I recently bit the bullet and bought me some really nice Steve Maddens which are Brazilian leather. I know my new babes will last me a long time.
Lets make it a great week lovelies!

Coming up next- my travel diary from Madrid.

Love,

Ivonne Stacy.
